PERMITS

Register Your New Alarm System, Today

In an effort to reduce the false alarm rate in Jacksonville and the surrounding communities, an alarm registration program was implemented in 2017. One key element in reducing false alarm calls for police comes from having current contact information that alarm users update each year. All residential and business alarms must be registered in the new system by the owner to avoid penalties by July 15, 2020. Without a permit number, the police will not be dispatched in an emergency. Please check that your alarm is registered and updated each year
